Kairos returns to Western Correctional Center for Women this October 16-19. It is a three-and half-day spiritual retreat that focuses on love and forgiveness of Jesus. In the spirit of community, please consider supporting this program. Marcia Salansky will be in the Fellowship Hall between services for the next several weeks to answer questions about the four ways you can help:
- Kairos is dependent on prayer. Sign up to pray during the retreat.
- Write brief notes of encouragement. Address the cards to “Dear Sister in Christ”, DO NOT seal them, and then hand them to Marcia Salansky by Sunday, October 12. These cards go a long way to connecting these women to Jesus’ love and letting them know that they are not forgotten.
- Children can decorate a paper placemat with words of encouragement - no stickers, no glitter, please.
- Donate money to help financially support the program. A tax-deductible donation of $10.00 helps pay for one meal for a participant. Checks are made out to Kairos of North Carolina-WCCW. Checks or cash can be given to Marcia Salansky.
