The Rev. Dr. Richard L. White was born in Oakland, CA and grew up in the Washington, DC area. He earned a BA from Wheaton College where he met and married his wife, Portia. Richard received his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry from Salt Lake Theological Seminary. Since 1989, Richard has served on staff as Associate Pastor and now as Senior Pastor. Richard grew up in a Roman Catholic home and had a saving encounter with Jesus Christ at age 12. His passion is to see the church alive in the power of the Holy Spirit, bringing glory to Jesus Christ as it extends the hope of the Gospel to others. Richard and Portia have three grown children. He loves mountain biking and hiking (and appreciates a good rhyme). He also loves a good cup of tea.
